Join Sherita Herring as she interviews featured panelists, Dr. David Gruder and Ty Pruitt, as we delve more deeply into some of today’s most difficult conversations.
As we deal with the current disjointed political climate and racial divides across the country, let’s continue to have positive conversations to aid in bridging gaps of discord and uncertainty.
Through the “TWO SHADES OF KNOWLEDGE” forums, the two most persecuted cultures in history come together, via a Black Man and a Jewish Man, to create a safe space for having the hard conversations that others run away from.
Topics They’ll Further Touch On Include…
=> Why trauma is not a badge of honor: The hidden damage of chronic trauma
=> Root causes of implicit bias
=> What people of color and law enforcement aren’t talking about with each other
=> The dance between superiority and guilt
=> Why “privilege groups” feeling guilty doesn’t solve the problem
=> Ways to be in a “target group” without having a victim mentality
